A
short semi-resume highlighting my experience with horses follows...
An
impressive list of reasons to choose Paula!
Written by Barbara
Lamphere.
With
over 25 years of experience in the horse business, Paula Moore
has built an impressive list of references. Although her earlier
experience included riding, training and showing American
Saddlebreds, Morgans and Hackney Ponies, for the past 20 years
Paula has concentrated on stock breeds including American
Quarter Horses and colored stock type horses. In addition,
Paula is a recent graduate of the North Carolina State University
Open Horse Show Judges' Certification Clinic certifying in
the top 1/3 of her class.
Paula
has also worked many years as a 4-H volunteer, both as a youth
leader as well as holding elected positions on the Hillsborough
County Horse Advisory Board. She has notably coached several
youth exhibitors to championships in open and breed shows
at open, 4-H and national levels. Her daughter, Amanda, showed
her personal mount, Sunny Dun Naggey, to the 2000 High Point
Youth Horse title at the International Buckskin Horse Association
World Championship shows in Columbia, Missouri earning four
world champion and three reserve world champion title.
Although
Paula has concentrated her more recent show ring efforts to
the AQHA and IBHA show rings, she continues to train horses
and owners into harmonious relationships in and out of the
show ring. Paula is available for judging, clinics, training
and lessons. She still maintains a strong interest in working
with youth and 4-H groups in clinics and open shows. Very
reasonable rates.
